Sponsorship takes many forms. Cash donations, volunteer hours, and most recently—gothic revival furniture. Andrew Rakos had the largest, most amazing, gothic revival antique counter we had seen. We were so pleased he wanted to donate it. We knew this special piece also needed to live the largest, most amazing, gothic revival building—and just the building to place it in. The Villa Riviera Ballroom does not have any period correct, style correct, or scale correct antiques—and boy, does it need them! The Long Beach Conservancy working with the Villa Riviera’s Architectural Review Committee facilitated this incredible donation to the Villa Ballroom.
